1980Company Established
Our Beginning
In 1980, Gordon Govender established a Construction and Development Company named Charisma Homes.
 
This was
a thriving building encompassing all facets of home building from ground level to completion, including fine finisher.
Charisma Homes expanded to become one of the largest Property Developers in Kwa Zulu Natal and surrounding
areas. The core business at the time was development of complexes, comprising of Duplexes and Simplexes.
 
Gordon prided himself on exemplary work which earned Charisma Homes a leading and highly reputable position in the
private property and construction sector.
After many year Gordon made a wise decision to spread his wings and become a dab hand at Formwork and
Scaffolding.
 
Hard work and perseverance lead him to open SherSha Investments became one of the top Formwork Erection Companies Nationwide. This gave birth to SherSha Structures and Skye Formwork and Scaffolding.
1984Shersha' Investments

SherSha’ Structures has built a reputation in the formwork Industry, previously trading as SherSha’ Investments, we
have prided ourselves on impeccable work ethic, quality work and timeous presentation.

SherSha’ Investments was started in 1994, by Gordon Govender, who had a vision, ambition, determination and a workforce of 20 men. Through Gordon’s hard work and perseverance, SherSha’ Investments had become one of the most sought after formwork companies in KZN, building structures for the likes of JT Ross and Group 5 in Kwa-Zulu Natal.

After the increasing demand for his work Gordon decided to extend the company to Gauteng in 2000, where his sons
Sherimo and Shaolin headed up the Gauteng projects
2004Building Projects
In 2004 after Gordon’s passing Sherimo Govender and his mum Ragini Govender took on the tedious task of heading
up the business and moving it entirely to Gauteng.
 
In doing so Sherimo made his own niche in the market doing landmark projects such as the OR Tambo Airport International Wing, The SAFA Building at the FNB Stadium, The Standard Bank Parkade in Johannesburg and Standard Bank Offices in Constantia Johannesburg, but to name a few.
2008Growth

After creating a name for ourselves in the Gauteng Construction Industry, Shersha Investments had decided to open a new entity, in 2008, aptly named Shersha Structures. Today Shersha Structures employees over 200 people in its capacity, and are doing projects country wide.
